Moving!

Well I have been trying to get this months tutorial up but we are in the process of moving and will be officaily moved on Friday. With that being said I have to hold off and will be back soon with the tutorial along with other inspiring things in my life right now.

Winner and May Sneak Peak!!!

Just a quick pop in to give you all a sneak peak of Mays project

Vacationed

Cafe Prima is on vacation so I will be drawing a name around the 6th! I too will be out of town from Sunday to Tuesday. Therefore PCI's tutorial will not be going until the 12th. So sorry for keep pushing this back but there are some major things in the works in my life but PCI I assure is still one of them!

Build an Embellishment March Tutorial!

Well, it seems as though the whole world is GOING GREEN and what
better way to do our part then use up what we already have. What
a GRAND opportunity to reduce, reuse, and recycle! You know that I
am good for it! LOL! In this months tutorial I hope to inpire you to
use those bits and pieces that you just can't bare to part with but also
drives you nuts trying to figure out what to do with them all. We are
going to build our own embellishments!!!

1. Get together a stash of bits and pieces that inspire you like
shown in the photo above. It can any and everything your
little heart desires. =)

You may want to consider using an adhesive that won't show much
if you decide to reuse clear packagings as I have done for my embellishments.

2. WAVES embellishment supplies.

3. There aren't any specific in order steps that I can give you for building

the embellishment that you desire, but what I can do is give you a general

idea of how I built my own.

4. I used some old fuzzy stickers from MM which are FAB to me

still. I don't have a beach where I live and just couldn't use these

stickers for anything until now.

5. I recieved these AWESOME chipboard shapes from Creative

imaginations and had this one scrap piece laying around. It

looked like a wave to me so I used it!

6. Lastly, I adhered some LOVELY October Afternoon paper on

the back. The clear plastic piece that I used it just some cut up

plastic packaging from products I have already used up. I knew

right from the start that I wanted to use clear packaging to create

an acrylic album look. It also created an transparency overlay

look as well. It is rare that I toss something in the trash. LOL!

1. LUXE embellishment supplies.

2. Again I am using some clear packaging and just layering my elements

to create an embellishment.

3. I used my swivel knife to cut this flower out of the paper shown above.

2. Stamping on anything like this can be tricky. Make sure that you

have something that will dry or stain such as Colorbox fluid chalks

or Tim Holtz alchohol inks.

3. Some basic layering again......

1. GROOVY embellishment supplies.

2. I used my swivel knife again to cut the apple out the paper shown above.

THERE YOU HAVE IT!!! Your OWN embellshment set!!! Are they cute

or what!!!

Some details..........

These were so easy and quick to make!!! You can also feel pretty

SWELL about yourself to for makin it a GREEN thing. LOL!

Hello out there!

April is here and with that comes a new tutorial along with some fun small challenges and contest throughout the month and will take place the months hereafter!!!

Since the 5th falls on a Saturday, Sabbath, I will be putting up this months tutorial on the 6th. It is going to be another neat project using up things you probably would never think to use. LOL! Always fun when you don't have to spend RIGHT!
